1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VilposBags's website (vilposbags.com) or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers. VilposBags reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Products and Descriptions
VilposBags makes every effort to display products accurately, including descriptions, images, weights, and prices. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are accurate, complete, or current.
All products listed are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Product images are for illustrative purposes; the actual product may vary slightly in colour or packaging.
Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed at an incorrect price.
3. Orders and Payment
When you place an order, you represent that: (a) you are at least 18 years old, (b) the information you provide is accurate and complete, and (c) you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, errors in product or pricing information, suspected fraudulent activity, or failure of payment authorisation.
Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your full card number or CVV. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders must be paid in full at the time of delivery in Indian Rupees.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We aim to deliver within 2–5 business days of order confirmation. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural events, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title for items purchased from VilposBags pass to you upon delivery. If you are not available to receive the package, the courier will attempt delivery twice before returning it to our warehouse.
Free shipping is applicable on orders above ₹2000. Shipping fees for smaller orders are displayed at checkout.
5. Returns and Refunds
We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery for products that are damaged, incorrect, or do not meet the described quality standards.
To initiate a return: log into your account and go to My Orders, or email orders@vilposbags.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.
Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of receiving the returned product. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
We may decline returns if: (a) the 7-day window has passed, (b) the product has been fully consumed, or (c) the product was damaged due to improper storage after delivery.
6. Product Quality and Lab Testing
VilposBags tests every product batch in our NABL-accredited laboratory before dispatch. However, batch test results represent the specific batch tested and cannot guarantee that every unit within the batch is identical, as natural food products have inherent variability.
We sell eco-friendly jute and cotton bags. All product descriptions, material claims, and certifications are based on our supplier declarations and in-house quality checks.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the VilposBags platform — including text, graphics, logos, product images, and software — is the property of VilposBags or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written consent. You may share product links on social media for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that: (a) provide false information, (b) engage in fraudulent activity, (c) place orders with no intent to accept delivery, or (d) abuse our returns or promotions policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VilposBags shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
If you have a consumer dispute, you may also approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or relevant State Consumer Forum.
