Standards & Certifications
Eco-Friendly Materials
All our jute and cotton materials are 100% natural and biodegradable. Jute decomposes within 1–2 years; cotton within 5 months — versus 500+ years for plastic.
Load & Durability Testing
Every bag design is tested for load capacity, handle tensile strength, and stitch count before bulk production. Our standard bags are rated for 8–12 kg.
Non-Toxic Printing
All custom printing uses water-based, azo-dye-free inks with no heavy metals. Safe for food-contact use (grocery & produce bags) and child-safe.
Artisan Fair Wages
We audit every weaving workshop in our network for fair wages, safe working conditions, and no child labour — annually verified by our operations team.
Our 6-Step Quality Process
Material Sourcing
We procure jute from West Bengal & Odisha co-operatives and cotton from certified mills — checked for fibre quality and natural origin.
Weave Inspection
Fabric rolls are inspected for weave consistency, thread count, and tensile strength before cutting.
Stitching & Construction
Skilled artisans hand-stitch each bag. Double-stitched seams and reinforced handles are standard on all bags.
Print & Colour QC
Custom prints are checked for colour accuracy, registration, and bleed. Any print below 95% accuracy is reprinted.
Load Testing
Random samples from every batch are load-tested to rated capacity. Batches with failures are rejected and reworked.
Packed & Shipped
Orders are packed in recycled paper packaging — no plastic wrapping — and dispatched within 24 hours of QC clearance.
Our Zero-Compromise Policy
No Synthetic Fibres
We never blend jute or cotton with synthetic fibres to cut costs. What's labelled natural is 100% natural.
No Plastic Packaging
All orders leave our facility in recycled paper or jute wrapping. We don't use bubble wrap, plastic bags, or stretch film.
No Toxic Dyes
All inks and dyes are water-based, heavy-metal-free, and REACH compliant. Safe for skin contact and food use.
